Paparazzi

My 3 weeks vacation is over! I'm now back in the island coughing non stop all the way from Manila and now it's killing me. Flu alert? I hope not!

I stayed 3 nights in New York before heading to Manila and 1 night bago bumalik dito sa isla. Sa sobrang mahal ng city na 'to halos di na ako natutulog at talagang sinusulit ko na! The hotel i stayed was very close to Times Square area kaya sa umaga pa lang dito na ako nagliliwaliw.

Nadaanan ko ang studio ng Good Morning America of ABC news. Maraming tao sa loob ng studio pero mas marami ang nakaabang sa exit door kahit umuulan at may mga paparazzi so nakiusyoso din ako..

Ang engot lang ng isang paparazzi na mukhang intsik, tinanong ko lang kung sino ang lalabas at ayaw pa sabihin!

Nung lumabas na ang lalaking 'to sa totoo lang di ko siya kilala. But he must be famous dahil ang laki ng mga pictures nya na pinapa-autograph ng mga fans and the paparazziz were calling him Patrick. Nahiya na ako magtanong kung sino siya, gino-google ko na lang pag-uwi. Siya pala si Patrick Dempsey, Grey's Anatomy star as Dr. Derek Shepherd.

Tapos sa loob na naman ang attention ng mga tao. Opps, parang kilala ko na 'to. Si Reese Witherspoon, ang liit parang 12 years old lang! She's promoting her avon perfume ata.

Ito Na

Madaliang update lang. Few minutes from now ay aalis na ako papuntang airport. Ngayon ang simula ng pinakahihintay kong long vacation na napostponed 6 months back. Ang aga sana ng flight ko pero tumawag ng madaling araw ang american airlines na delayed daw ng 3 hours ang flight.

Magstay muna ako ng 3 days sa New York before going to Manila. May i-meet lang ako mamayang gabi then the rest solo flight na akong magliwaliw. Sabagay pangalawa ko ng punta dito so medyo relax na, first time ko pa naman 'tong mag-isa mamasyal sa ibang bansa. Ang tanga tanga ko kasi sa mga directions at laging mawawala.

Then sa Tuesday ang byahe ko to Manila. Sana okay na ang panahon at wala ng bagyo. Hindi pa ako decided kung deretso ba agad ako sa Cebu o hindi.

By the way, sa New york na ako maabutan ng birthday ko bukas!

8 Reasons why i haven't blogged for 8 months

1. The impact of global economic crisis on the island was around late of 2008 and early 2009. Ang daming layoff and non renewal of permits to expat workers. Fortunately walang tanggalan sa office namin but a lot of working permits were not renewed from our restaurants for waiters & kitchen staffs. We implement a strict cost cutting measures and being in accounting, left and right ang demand ng kung ano anong klase ng reports. Sobrang nakaka stress!

2. Adik sa online poker in facebook! To the point na magdamag akong maglaro pag weekend. Milyones na sana ang chips ko pero naubos rin kaya iniwan ko na.

3. Inatake yong officemate kong indian at kelangan ilipat sa US hospital. Syempre ang sumama ay yong isang pang officemate na kalahi din niya and for two weeks dalawa silang wala sa office. That was the busiest weeks in my life na pati Sunday ay pumapasok ako.

4. Nag self study ako ng post processing both in Lightroom and Adobe CS3 pero hanggang ngayon syonga pa rin!

5. I did my first ever prenup pictorial to a friend...heheh nagpi feeling lang...



I'll post more next time, hingi muna ako ng approval from my models..hahh

6. Finally i am now driving my scooter legally. But it was not so pleasant experience bago nakuha ang lisensya. First i need to take written exam for driving and traffic laws. First and second take bagsak! ! Buti nalang libre at pwede bumalik araw araw hangang sa pumasa. Then the actual driving test. Bagsak sa zigzag driving during my first take, second take bagsak pa rin for not following instruction daw. Ang sungit pa ng examiner at ini-schedule pa naman ako ng almost a month for my next appointment. Sa wakas pumasa na ako sa pangatlo pero ang pucha limited to 50cc scooter lang ang pwede ko i-drive dahil 50cc lang din ang ginamit ko during the exam! And after a week of driving, i had an accident. Two weeks din akong nakatsinelas lang na pumasok sa trabaho.

7. At sa dami ng stress sa buhay, i reward myself naman para maglameryenda. A 6 days trip to Orlando, Florida! I'll post more pics in my next updates.

8. Planning an itinerary for my long awaited vacation to Philippines very soon! March pa sana 'to but was cancelled dahil sa mga masalimuot na sitwasyon. I'll have a 25 days vacation, dadaan muna ako sa New York for 3 days then deretso na sa Manila then Cebu.

Elbow Beach

Taken at the pool area of Elbow Beach Hotel. We're actually waiting for sunset but thanks to Bermuda's strange weather, this clear blue sky was soon replaced by dark thick clouds.

400 years

Oppps! May mali pala sa previous post, fireworks photos were actually taken last 3rd January during the celebration of Bermuda's 400th anniversary. Cancelled ang fireworks display last New Year's Eve dito sa isla dahil sa lakas ng hangin. Call it a memory lapse...hehh

Anyway, the island celebrate it's 400th anniversary last Jan. 3 and ito'y isa sa pinakamalaking event ngayong taon. It was year 1609 since the Sea Venture ship find it's way to Bermuda shores when it was hit by a storm and the rest is history.

Puno ng mga tao ang halos buong Front Street kung saan may mga acrobat performers at banda playing carribean music.

Kung merong taga Canada siyempre may taga Pilipinas din..actually hindi ko napansin ang Pilipinas shirt sa friend kong 'to until i saw this photo.

At ito an mga acrobat performers nila. Sa totoo lang nothing spectacular, bumaba lang sila ng dahandahan na nakatiwarik...yun lang pero di bale nag-enjoy naman ang crowd pero ako hindi...heheh

At bilang pangwakas ay ang fireworks display. Ito lang talaga ang purpose ng pagpunta namin. It took almost an hour for us to find this spot just to get a good view away from the crowd.

Wahhh...11 days na bago ako nakasulat ng una kong enrtry for 2009! Kung akala nyo nawalan na ako ng gana sa blogging....isang malaking hindi ang sagot! In fact, starting today i promised myself to be more active at laging may update. Bawal na ang tatamad tamad! I even plan to get my own domain , please suggest naman dyan kung saan maganda.
